Piano Player Will Soon Return to Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom!

We have slowly been seeing more and more entertainment come back around the Walt Disney World Resort, and today we are excited to share that the Casey’s Corner piano player will soon be returning to his post in the Magic Kingdom!

The Casey’s Corner piano player’s daily showtimes beginning October 1, 2021 will include: 11:10 am, 11:55 am, 12:45 pm, 2:10 pm, 3:40 pm, 4:45 pm, and 5:50 pm.

This live entertainment component of one of Walt Disney World’s most classic quick service dining locations has been missed by fans since the park reopened last year (initially without Casey’s Corner at all, and then without the pianist.) Disney Legend Cast Member Jim Omohundro is perhhaps the most known piano player at Casey’s (he’s been playing the piano at this Magic Kingdom staple for 38 years!). We are not able to confirm if he will be returning on October 1, but we would love to see him back on Main Street!

Casey’s Corner has been a fan-favorite throughout the Magic Kingdom’s history, and bringing back the restaurant’s entertainment just in time for the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort is definitely welcoming news. Earlier this year, Disney debuted new Casey’s Corner merchandise including a Dress Shop dress, adorable hot dog shaped handbag, and even an authentic jersey-style shirt for men.

Most of Casey’s menu has returned as well, including the extremely popular corn dog nuggets (make sure to order them with cheese sauce!) and the chili cheese dogs and fries, but some of the more specialty items have not yet made a return (we’re thinking primarily of the rotating hot dog selection, prior to the park’s closure in 2020 Casey’s Corner rotated different varieties of specialty dogs on a seasonal/monthly basis.)

Restaurants and menu items are still making returns to Walt Disney World all across property, especially in preparation for The Most Magical Celebration on Earth, and given this news about Casey’s plus dining packages returning and additional details for the 50th, we are hopeful that we will see lots of normalcy returning to the Walt Disney World Resort in the coming months.
