We are so excited that the Main Street Confectionery will be open very soon on September 29, 2021, and today the Disney Parks Blog shared the even more exciting news that upon reopening this classic sweets shop will have a variety of brand new treats available!

The newly reopened Main Street Confectionery will be hosted by Mars Wrigley, so Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom will be able to shop for sweets from the company’s popular lines of candy. One new addition is an interactive M&M and Skittles wall, where Guests can stock up on their favorite colors and flavors of this classic candy. (M&Ms do sound like the perfect pre-Disney Enchanted snack, if you ask me.)

The M&Ms and Skittles can also be used to top of popcorn (um, yes, please!) You can choose from a variety of popcorn flavors, including caramel, rainbow fruit, butter, and cheddar, and mix and match whatever you like. Caramel with M&Ms sounds like the first thin I’m going to try!

Also in the Main Street Confectionery, Guests can see many classic Disney treats (think Mickey rice krispie treats, cake pops, and more) being made and decorated by hand by skilled Cast Members behind the counter. During this official reopening announcement, Disney also shared that behind the counter Guests will find more than 30 new items that will not be found anywhere else at the Walt Disney World Resort. Some of these new items include new types of fudge. A Peanut Butter Fudge is one of the new additions and it’s topped with peanut M&Ms and drizzled with chocolate!

Limited-time treats will also be available for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” with four special items just for the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. These items will include M&M and fudge Mickey treats, M&M and sprinkles-covered cookies, and M&M and peanut butter frosting covered Mickey-shaped rice krispie treats!

These limited time treats will all be available when the shop reopens on October 1, and we cannot wait to try them!
