Plan for Valentine’s Day With This Foodie Guide for the Walt Disney World Resort

Valentine’s Day is coming up quickly, and for Disney fans, the Most Magical Place on Earth could be the perfect backdrop for a romantic celebration! Disney theme parks and resorts are offering up some sweet specials for the occasion this February 14, and we’ve got the scoop on everything you need to try during your upcoming Disney World vacation in this guide.

Snacks, sweets, and treats, can be found all over the Walt Disney World Resort on the most romantic day of the year. Here are the details, courtesy of the Disney Parks Blog:

EPCOT

Available on February 14, 2022, Guests visiting EPCOT will find unique Valentine’s Day offerings in two locations. Coral Reef Restaurant will enhance their delicious lunch and dinner menus and views of the reef inside The Seas With Nemo and Friends by adding a Flourless Chocolate Cake. This limited-time dessert is made with flourless cake and dark chocolate crémeux, topped with fresh berries, raspberry whipped cream, and raspberry méringue.

Another take on Flourless Chocolate Cake is available on Valentine’s Day in Le Cellier Steakhouse, located in the Canada pavilion of World Showcase. This cake follows the same recipe as Coral Reef’s but is sized to serve two so you can share with your sweetheart!

This adorable Engagement Ring Cake is available at the ABC Commissary quick-service restaurant from February 11-14, 2022. It’s an entirely plant-based dessert, made of chocolate cake filled with raspberry sauce served on top of a shortbread cookie with the chocolate engagement ring.

The Hollywood Brown Derby is serving a Red Velvet White Chocolate Mousse that is available on those same dates, February 11-14. The mousse is served on top of a chocolate cookie making for a sweet way to end a meal at the park’s signature dining experience.

And, the Trolley Car Cafe is serving a Red Velvet Whoopie Pie (February 11-14), made with red velvet cake filled with cream cheese buttercream with strawberry buttercream on top.

Disney Resorts

A Sweetheart Chocolate Cupcake is arriving at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels available February 9-20, 2022! This cupcake is made with chocolate cake filled with hazelnut cream and topped off with chocolate hazelnut, strawberry buttercream, a white chocolate heart, and strawberry pearls.

At Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Guests can find the Sweetheart Sundae, made with a Mickey and Minnie red velvet waffle, strawberry, and chocolate swirl, hot fudge, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream. Order it at the Intermission Food Court at All-Star Music and the World Premiere Food Court at All-Star Movies February 9-20, 2022.

Also at the Intermission Food Court, Guests can find the Mickey and Minnie Bouquet, a simple Mickey and Minnie Mouse-inspired red velvet cake topped with sugar cookies. The Mickey and Minnie Bouquet is available from February 11-14.

At Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can cap off Valentine’s lunch or dinner at Sanaa with a Valentine’s Day Candy bar. The bar is made with apricot, caramel, pistachio, and cashew bar coated with milk chocolate and topped with chai cream, red velvet crumbs, and raspberry gel, and is available only on February 14. Start your dinner with Sanaa’s signature bread service and end it on a sweet note!

Disney’s BoardWalk has treats available at the BoardWalk Bakery February 7-14, including the Marshmallow Mountain Cookie: Sugar cookie with a mountain of vanilla marshmallow dipped in white chocolate and finished with Valentine’s sprinkles, along with Chocolate Dipped Strawberries,  Cannoli, Coconut Macaron, Sugar Cookies, and pink and red Mickey Cinnamon Rolls.

Flying Fish is offering a Cocoa Breach Vanilla Custard made with milk chocolate bavarois and feuilletine crunch then topped with a heart-shaped under a red chocolate disk. Try this dessert after your date-night dinner February 11-13.

At Trattoria al Forno from February 11-14, Guests can order a Porterhouse Beefsteak for Two: featuring Garlic butter, truffled gnocchi gratin, and pancetta brussels sprouts. For dessert, a Cherry Cordial Brownie is on the menu with a cherry cordial brownie base, chocolate crunch mousse, a sweet dose of cherry filling, and amaretto panna cotta.

Now through February 28, Guests can take a quick break from the Magic Kingdom to grab breakfast at Steakhouse 71 with Valentine’s specials at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The Strawberry Chocolate Chip Pancake comes with raspberry cream cheese icing, chocolate sauce, and strawberries.

Nearby at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Gasparilla Island Grill is serving up Valentine’s Day Cherry Blondie Pops, available at the resort’s quick-service restaurant through February 15.

Now through February 28, Scat Cat’s Club at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter is changing up their classic Mickey beignets for Valentine’s Day! Find them drizzled with cinnamon candy or order the Baton Rouge Beignets, two traditional beignets with cinnamon candy drizzle, Valentine’s Day quins, and crushed cinnamon candies with a pipette of cinnamon whisky.

If you are spending Valentine’s Day at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, be sure to stop at Roaring Fork for a Valentine’s Day Cupcake. Made with strawberry cake and chocolate custard, this looks like a delicious post-Magic Kingdom treat.

Disney Springs

You don’t need a park ticket to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Walt Disney World. Amorette’s Patisserie has a number of specials available February 10-24, including:

  • Chocolate-dipped Strawberries
  • Hearts of Romance Cake: Strawberry shortcake (New)

Marketplace Snacks is serving a DOLE Whip with Chocolate and Strawberry Swirl now through February 26, and The Ganachery has these new specials available just on February 14:

  • Sweetheart Minnie Piñata: Chocolate sphere filled with marshmallow and chocolate (New)
  • Ruby Kiss Bon Bons: Kiss-shaped bonbon made from ruby chocolate (New)
  • Strawberry & Champagne Ganache Squares: Strawberry and Champagne chocolate ganache squares
