Disney has some of the most famous names in the world associated with it. From Selena Gomez and Dove Cameron on the Disney Channel to Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson in Marvel, to Zoe Saldanha from their 20th Century Fox acquisition. The Mouse House has a way of attracting some of the best talents in the world to its doorstep, and for good reason—it’s not the most prolific and one of the most well-known entertainment companies in the world for nothing.

The latest in that trend is pop-star Lizzo.
In the most recent episode of The Mandalorian, we saw Lizzo playing the wife of Jack Black’s character. The Grammy winner guest-starred in the Star Wars spinoff’s “Chapter 22: Guns for Hire” episode alongside Jack Black’s Captain Bombardier. Lizzo and Jack Black played the leaders of the far-off planet Plazir-15. Given that Lizzo plays a literal Dutchess in the show, she’s understandably excited about the role and even places herself among the long, illustrious line of Disney princesses.

“YALL I JUST REALIZED THAT IM ROYALTY IN STAR WARS WHICH IS DISNEY WHICH MAKES ME A DISNEY PRINCESS,” she wrote in a recent TikTok, in which she ruffles her hair and poses with a pair of sunglasses.
Of course, the caption of the video was more specific in her Disney royalty status: Disney Dutchess. Nevertheless, Lizzo is a wonderful addition to the list if she ever does become an official Disney Princess.
Fans were incredibly supportive of the idea, sharing what an ideal day as a Disney Princess could be like for the pop-star: “Brunch with Princess Tiana, GRWM videos with Snow White, vacationing with Moana.”
Another shared, “You’re been royalty since you were born LIZZO xoxox.”
Hmm… petition for Disney to make it official?
