Details are still being confirmed on the Disneyland incident, however MiceChat has reported that security surrounded the restaurant as the Guest in question attempted to create a barricade around the Cast Member they were thought to be threatening. Original reports of the incident also mention that the Guest had a weapon in their possession though it is not believed to be a gun.

MiceChat also shared the following statement as an update, “We heard from a spokesperson at Disney saying they are unaware of an armed incident. However, we are still hearing from cast who say that it was more than just a belligerent guest. We are awaiting additional information.”

At this time, it does not appear that calls had been made to the Anaheim Police Department. At this time we have not been able to confirm additional details about what caused the incident, or what kind of weapon, if any, the Guest was carrying, and whether or not the incident is still ongoing at the southern California theme park.

Given the limited information coming out of the restaurant at this time, and Disney’s statement, we believe the situation has either been resolved or the Guest could have been removed from the restaurant given the large security presence, but we will be back with additional details as we learn more.
