Princess Tiana’s Limited-Edition Makeup Collection Has Been Released

Bésame Cosmetics is known for its luxurious Disney-princess-inspired makeup collections, and the cosmetics company has just launched a special Princess and the Frog product! The “Tiana Disney Princess Signature Compact” includes both a dark berry lipstick and “a natural gold highlight powder” packaged in a gorgeous, high-quality makeup compact. According to the product's description on the Bésame Cosmetics website, “This compact features art deco design and a beautiful enamel image of Tiana. More than a simple portrait, the design is based on Tiana’s dream sequence from the film. The artwork encompasses the 1920s setting and shows Tiana in her most glamorous, powerful look”.

Not only is the makeup compact engraved with Tiana's name, but it's also “made from a completely unique mold”, meaning that this “Princess and the Frog collector’s item cannot be found anywhere else”. The compact's other notable features include its gold plating, “easy, refillable design”, “sturdy metal construction”, “center magnet to hold the pan” and a “snap closure to keep powder safe”. While many luxury cosmetic brands are very far behind when it comes to all-natural ingredients, being cruelty-free, or using sustainable methods to make their products, Bésame Cosmetics has managed to maintain its high-end makeup while also being cruelty-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, and vegan. The Princess Tiana compact is also apparently “sustainably made in California”, which seems appropriate for a Disney princess!

Since Bésame Cosmetics was trying to emulate Princess Tiana “in her most glamorous, powerful look”, it makes sense that “the Tiana lipstick” would be a deep berry lipstick that's also a “triple pigmented, feather proof, long-wearing satin finish”. This lipstick color was apparently “based on the pigments used for the character in the 2009 film”, and is a “rich berry hue” that “looks great while running a restaurant or racing through the Bayeux”. Its decadent golden packaging also meant that it will “add a touch of magic to your vanity”. This lipstick does reportedly have a “subtle vanilla flavor”, and it does have Vitamin E in it, but otherwise it was meant for consumers with sensitive skin. It's also cruelty-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, mineral-oil-free, and “sustainably made in California” like the highlighting powder compact.

Since this is a limited edition Disney princess collection, it's not cheap. The Signature Compact and lipstick is $125, but even at that price, this sold out fast online (just like the amazing Sleeping Beauty collection from 2019)! However, you can also buy it on shopDisney.com, where it is still in stock–and so is the Moana one!
