‘Pitch Perfect’ Star Announces Magical Disney Engagement!

Disneyland Resort is called The Happiest Place on Earth, and for very good reason. The sign above the entrance does not lie — when you enter through the magical gates, you truly enter a world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy. Guests visiting Disneyland can ride spinning teacups, venture into a mountain and encounter the Yeti, sail into the Caribbean with pirates, travel through a haunted mansion, and more. A trip to Disneyland Resort is always a memorable experience, whether you are going for the first time or the fiftieth time.

For those who LOVE Disneyland, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney, sometimes they want to do something a little more magical. And what’s more magical than asking the person you love to marry you?

On February 19, Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson shared that she had proposed to her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. However, this was no ordinary proposal. The area was off to the side and covered in pink rose petals and two gorgeous bouquets of pink roses on pedestals. Both women wore matching pink and white striped sweatshirts that had a heart with the word “love” inscribed on the front.

Wilson shared news of the happy engagement on both Instagram and Twitter.

Recently, Wilson spoke to People about her relationship with Agruma, and how it took her completely by surprise. 

“I always was a bit of a girls’ girl and had deep friendships with women, but this was the first time that it was a romantic connection, and I was just shocked,” Wilson, who is launching a new dating app called Fluid, recalled.

She added: “And then I was like, ‘Oh, well, what if that was just part of my personality that I was repressing and wasn’t exploring?’ And maybe I should have 10 years earlier. My journey is what it is, but it’s just awesome now to be in a relationship.”

Wilson and Agruma have been together since early 2022, with Agruma happily stepping into a parenting role when Wilson announced the birth of her baby girl, Royce Lillian, in November 2022.
