Rebel Wilson Says Non-Disney Wedding Has Nothing to Do With Getting Banned From Parks

Disneyland Resort is the Happiest Place on Earth, full of magic and excitement. Trips to Disney, whether it’s your first or your 100th, are always memorable times. People who have extra love for Disney can always bring a little extra to their time in the Parks by doing things like dining packages or specialty tours. Those who are REALLY big Disney fans take things even one step further — they get married there! That’s right, Disney offers wedding packages and Guests can get married in front of Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty Castle. They can even have their Guests celebrate in the Parks with a unique view of the fireworks.

Pitch Perfect actress Rebel Wilson is a big Disney fan. In fact, the actress loves Disney so much that, back in February, she proposed to her girlfriend in a little alcove in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Wilson had reached out to Disney, who worked with her to make the proposal extra beautiful, with vases full of pink roses and rose petals all over the ground.

Despite Wilson loving Disney and getting engaged there, she and her partner — Ramona Arguma — will not be going back there to get married. Initial reports stated that Wilson was getting married at Disney, but she spoke to TMZ and said that they will be getting married elsewhere. However, they do not know where that elsewhere will be just yet.

There was some speculation that Wilson was opting not to get married at Disneyland because of her being banned in the past. Earlier in 2023, Wilson took a selfie in a secret Disney bathroom. That resulted in her receiving a 30-day ban from the theme parks. Wilson has said that the ban does not bother her and that it is not the reason that she and her fiancé have decided not to get married at Disney.

Agruma and Wilson have been together since at least May 2022, but they kept their relationship under wraps for months. In November 2022, Wilson welcomed her first child via surrogate and the two are happily co-parenting a beautiful baby girl.
