Getting banned from a Disney Theme Park and Disney Resort is one of those events that scares many a Disney fan. The possibility of being unable to ever return to our favorite rides and attractions is certainly incentive enough to ensure we protect our ability to go to and enjoy the Disney Parks. However, there are times when Guests at Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort can still do things that result in bans. And sometimes, those actions can come from incredibly famous people. Rebel Wilson—who has been in Disney news a lot recently—revealed that she has, in fact, been banned from Disneyland!
Australian actress Rebel Wilson who rose to fame and carved a name for herself in Hollywood with movies like Pitch Perfect and Isn’t It Romantic, recently revealed she’d been banned from Disneyland for a whole month. The actress went on “The Daily Show,” which is currently being guest-hosted by Hasan Minhaj. A clip released on Tuesday revealed that Wilson was banned from the Southern California Disney Park for 30 days for violating one of their policies.
Wilson revealed, “I took a photo in a secret bathroom inside Disneyland, which is illegal at Disneyland, and I got officially banned for 30 days.” But the Australian actress also added that the Park was kind enough to work around her schedule and “choose” when she had to receive her punishment.
“They called me up and said, ‘Rebel what 30 days do you not want to come to Disneyland because you’re away filming a movie or something?’ And I said, ‘Aw, June would be fine,’ ” the Pitch Perfect actress added.
It’s certainly a happy ending, considering Wilson recently got engaged to her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, at the Disney Resort (something Disney CEO Bob Iger played a surprising role in), as she revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show!
Sometimes, it pays to be famous!
