The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts kicks off today and runs through February 21, 2022! The event marks the first of EPCOT’s annual festivals to bring back its traditional live music series since the performances were canceled due to COVID-19, and the festival schedule is packed with over 100 visiting artists, interactive art-making opportunities, outdoor kitchens, and photo ops around the park, and more.

Here is a closer look at everything you can experience at the festival beginning today:

The DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series is back with a full schedule of performers filling every day of the EPCOT Festival of the Arts. You can catch performances multiple times throughout the day at the America Gardens Theatre outside of the American Adventure pavilion in World Showcase.

Seating is not guaranteed for these performances, so if you are hoping to catch one of your favorite Broadway artists during the festival we recommend booking a dining package. Guests who purchase the dining package for this performing arts programming will be able to enter the seating area first to be sure they have a seat. Check this post for information on which restaurants are included and how to book.

In addition to the concert series, you can find performance art and demonstrations throughout EPCOT during the festival. View breathtaking 3D chalk art being created firsthand, or head over to the Animation Academy to try your hand at sketching something for yourself. Performances and events vary throughout the festival, so be sure to grab a passport on your way into the park or check the My Disney Experience app during your visit.

Outdoor kitchens are a favorite part of any EPCOT festival, and during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Guests will find 15 kitchens all with unique menu items and colorful cuisine inspired by works of art and different styles of art. Check out this guide to see what this year’s kitchens are offering.

Interactive art-making opportunities are available around the festival, including the annual favorite paint by number mural! The mural is a fun way to add your own tiny piece of art to a larger project with Guests visiting the festival from around the country. And, if you are able to visit the festival more than once, it is always fun to return to see the mural progress!

Photo ops are set up around the park to place yourself within iconic works of art! Such works as the Birth of Venus, Mona Lisa, pieces by Van Gogh, and more are included, and each station is accompanied by a Disney PhotoPass photographer so you can get everyone in the picture.

For fans looking specifically for Disney art, do not miss the Thomas Kinkade, Wonderground, and Wyland Galleries.

Last but certainly not least, every EPCOT festival comes with unique merchandise, and this year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is no different. At festival marketplaces and shops throughout EPCOT, you will be able to pick up everything from t-shirts and hoodies, to glassware, mugs, and more all featuring this year’s unique festival artwork.
