The Voices of Liberty offer a favorite live performance for Guests spending the day at EPCOT while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. This a cappella group has been performing outdoors in World Showcase since Disney parks began reopening following their closure at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you have visited EPCOT recently, or during the holidays for a showing of Candlelight Processional , you may have seen the performing on at the across from the . Earlier in the park’s reopening, these outdoor performances were essential to allow for adequate spacing of audience members. We have just learned from performer Kelly Morris Rowan on Instagram that the of the will soon be returning to their traditional location inside the rotunda.
Beginning January 9, at 12:00 PM, Guests will be able to see the iconic a cappella group perform once again inside the rotunda. The American Adventure rotunda offers the perfect setting for listening to the sounds of Americana provided by the Voices of Liberty thanks to its rounded ceiling that provides the ultimate acoustics for their performances.
With traditional American folk songs, patriotic tunes, and the occasional hit song from a Disney animated film, we always recommend arriving early to your showing of the American Adventure show to experience their performance before you head into the theater. (You should also leave time to check out the current exhibition in the American Heritage Gallery and see the Disney Imagineer-created paintings showing monumental events and experiences from American history displayed around the room.)
Disney Live Entertainment recently posted an audition for vocalists to join the Voices of Liberty. The audition process requires an online submission and in-person callbacks in either New York or Orlando, and we have a full post about it here if you are interested! The audition search could also mean additional showtimes might be coming for the Voices of Liberty, so we will keep you updated here on Disney Fanatic with any additional changes in EPCOT.
