While every Disney fan would love a chance to go to Walt Disney World Resort—there’s one very special Disney experience that very few fans get the chance to experience: the Cinderella Castle Suite. The Cinderella Castle Suite is the only place that you can stay overnight inside Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park.

Is There a Suite in Cinderella Castle at Disney World?

Yes! As any Disney Fanatic would know, Cinderella Castle does have a luxurious suite within its walls. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the centerpiece of the Cinderella Castle Suite is an antique limestone fireplace, a 17th-century Gothic molded from an original wood fireplace from France. In addition, rich furnishings, fabrics, and stained glass all give the suite its regal look.

How Much Does the Cinderella Suite Cost?

The Cinderella Castle suite is, in a sense, priceless. Guests cannot actually pay to stay at the suite—you can only be invited to go to it. However, it is rumored that Disney has refused bribes as high as $40,000 from guests who have wanted to stay overnight at the suite.

This is to say, it appears no amount of money will get you into the Cinderella Castle suite without an invite from Disney.

How Do You Get Invited to the Cinderella Suite?

It’s not the kind of reservation or invitation that money can buy—rather, Disney often offers it in particular circumstances, including as a prize for sweepstakes or competitions. Alternatively, the Walt Disney Company can also invite whoever they’d like to come stay at the suite, and have a magical evening at the Central Florida, Orlando theme park.

That’s exactly how Kathryn Chung found herself spending a night at the castle.

Earlier this year, we reported on the competition Disney Parks was conducting in the UK—UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. After initially submitting a 60-second video detailing why she should be crowned the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan and then participating in a series of challenges, Kathryn Chung from Hackney, London, was crowned the UK’s Biggest Disney fan by Disney buff and Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara.

Chung said about her experience at the suite, “I didn’t expect to win at all – I was speechless. I keep having to remind myself that this did happen. It was just amazing, I couldn’t believe I stayed there. I just did my best to take it in every detail inside the suite and the views over the park.”

Chung fell in love with Walt Disney World after a trip with her parents when she was five and has been an avid Disney fan ever since; this was certainly proof that there’s none more devoted than her in the UK right now.
