Sign Us Up! S’mores for Breakfast!

Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers this amazing s’mores french toast, but we are lucky in that Delish has posted a recipe that allows us to have this breakfast (can we call it that?) at home.

INGREDIENTS

1 c. milk

2 large eggs

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

6 thick slices brioche

1 tbsp. butter

2 c. crushed graham crackers

1 tbsp. cinnamon sugar

1/3 c. marshmallow crème, for serving

1/4 c. semisweet chocolate chips, melted, for serving

1/4 c. mini marshmallows, for garnish

1 graham cracker, crushed, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together milk, eggs, and vanilla until combined. Working one slice at a time, dip bread to soak each side in mixture. Mix together graham crumbs and cinnamon sugar and place them on a shallow plate.

2. In a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Cook 2 slices bread at a time until golden, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Repeat to cook all slices, adding more butter to pan if needed. As soon as the French toast is done, coat in graham crumb mixture.

3. To serve, spoon marshmallow crème between each French toast layer and drizzle with melted chocolate. If using, top with marshmallows and crushed graham crackers.

Will you be trying this delicious french toast option for breakfast anytime soon?

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
