Songs For a Whale is based on the children's book written by Lynne Kelly and is now being adapted for Disney+ in a brand new film.

The film will be similar to the book: “Young Iris was born deaf and always had a problem feeling heard herself. When she discovers a lone whale singing at a frequency unintelligible to other whales, she sets out to find the frequency that will make Blue 55 feel less alone.”

Kelly's book was published by Random House in 2019 and has received lots of praise as, ““fascinating, brave and tender… A triumph.”
We can't wait to see how this amazing and touching book is brought to the big screen.
