Special Offerings for “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth” Now Available at Disney’s Contemporary Resort”

The Walt Disney World Resort has special treat and offerings just for “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth” nearly everywhere return! New EARisdescent magic is happening around each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks, resort hotels, Disney Springs, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about 50th anniversary offerings at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

At the resort’s quick service dining location, Contempo Cafe, Guests can try the special 50th Anniversary Peanut Butter-Banana Pie. This treat is made with a sweet tart shell filled with peanut butter mousse and banana sauce topped with chocolate glaze and chocolate décor.

For table service news, the Contemporary Resort saw the opening of an all new restaurant just for the 50th anniversary celebration with Steakhouse 71. Located on the lobby level of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Steakhouse 71 is a nod to Disneyland’s Steakhouse 55, with its menu celebrating 50 years of the Walt Disney World Resort through modern takes on classic steakhouse cuisine. The restaurant is now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and as with all Walt Disney World Restaurants, reservations are strongly recommended.

At the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Guests dining at California Grill can enjoy a limited-time three course menu with entrees inspired by favorite dishes from the history of the resort plus new specialty items. California Grill is one of the most popular restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort, and as always advanced reservations are strongly encouraged.

Guests at Disney’s Contemporary Resort can also find prime viewing locations for Disney’s Electrical Water Pageant, which has been recently enhanced with a new float just for the occasion. In addition to the classic lighted floats Guests have enjoyed for years, the pageant now includes a castle design with the 50th anniversary original song “The Magic is Calling.”

As with all Walt Disney World resorts, Guests can also find new refillable mugs featuring the Beacons of Magic, as well as EARidescent wraps on monorails and buses.
