New Looks at Beacons of Magic in All Four Walt Disney World Theme Parks

Disney just shared a new look at some of the Beacons of Magic coming to park icons at all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in celebration of the 50th anniversary on October 1, 2021, and they are stunning!

You may have seen a sneak peek at Spaceship Earth glowing with Beacons of Magic during last night’s Disney Parks Blog live stream of the new Harmonious nighttime spectacular, but these new photos shared by Disney really do just bring out the full wow factor for how each of the park icons look all dressed up for the 50th celebrations.

These new photos of Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, the Hollywood Tower Hotel, and the Tree of Life exceed any expectations we had from the concept art Disney shared when Beacons of Magic was announced earlier this year, and we can’t wait to see them in person.

If you also can’t wait to see these park icons light up the night sky in person, you can tune into ABC tomorrow night for their special, “The Most Magical Story on Earth.” The special is set to cover the history of the Walt Disney World Resort leading up to this historic milestone, plus new enhancements, like the Beacons of Magic, that Guests can expect to enjoy during the celebration, as well as new offerings still to come at Walt Disney World.

Additional events for “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth,” that will begin alongside Beacons of Magic tomorrow, October 1, 2021 include Disney Enchantment at the Magic Kingdom, the park’s newest fireworks spectacular, Harmonious in EPCOT, and KiteTails, a daytime activation of kites themed to different Disney characters in the center of the park.
