The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser launches March 1, 2022, from the Walt Disney World Resort offering the latest immersive storytelling experience for Guests from Walt Disney Imagineering aboard a Halcyon cruiser. The first-of-its-kind experience includes interactive story elements, enhanced dining locations onboard the ship, exclusive merchandise, an excursion to Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and more. What is included in the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser?

Included in your stay aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser are:

  • Accommodations for two nights in a standard cabin, Galaxy Class suite, or the Grand Captain suite
  • Totally immersive and interactive experiences that place you in the center of your own Star Wars story, including interactions with Star Wars characters, various areas of the starcruiser, and more
  • All food and beverages on the Halcyon (excluding alcoholic and specialty beverages) and a quick-service meal during an excursion to Batuu at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
  • Admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on the day of your excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
  • Valet parking for the duration of your voyage
  • Exclusive MagicBand only available aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

How can I book my stay aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser?

Currently, reservations are being taken over the phone. Contact Disney directly at (407) 939-1800, and note Cast Members are available over the phone 7 AM to 11 PM EST. Before you book, be sure to have preferences for travel dates, names, ages, addresses and phone numbers for your entire party, preference for first or second dinner seatings, and details for staying at Walt Disney World before or after your voyage.

Is the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser accessible?

Yes, however, you should contact Disney in advance of your stay with your specific needs to ensure everything will be ready for your arrival. Certain pieces of medical equipment may be available to rent if needed, and Disney can confirm specifics with you ahead of your visit.

While there are designated ECV or scooter parking locations on each deck of the Halcyon, ECVs are not able to be stored in Guest rooms or in hallways. Wheelchairs are able to access Guest rooms, and rooms with wheelchair-accessible restrooms are also available.

Do Guest rooms have windows to the outside?

As part of the complete immersion into the Star Wars universe, each cabin and suite includes a window with a view of space. Outside your window, you can expect to see ships, planets, stars, and other unique views from around the galaxy.

Is there a coffeemaker inside each cabin?

No, however, coffee is available throughout the day at the Sublight Lounge, or with seated meals at the Corellia Dining Room.

What dining options are included on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser?

The ship’s main dining room which hosts breakfast and lunch buffets during the day and dinner nightly, the Crown of Corellia Dining Room, features an enticing multi-course table service menu with dinner. Live entertainment with Gaya, the Twi’lek singer, captivates Guests during their first evening on the ship, while a “Taste Around the Galaxy” dinner will take place on the second night.

Located just off the Atrium, the Sublight Lounge offers Guests casual small bites along with signature galactic cocktails, wines, and ales.

What activities will be available on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser?

Activities aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser can include:

  • Lightsaber training (for Guests ages seven and over)
  • Visit the Bridge and learn how to operate weapons and shields (which may come in handy during your voyage…)
  • Play holo-sabacc, a game of skill and chance, in the ship’s Sublight Lounge

What is the Star Wars: Datapad? Do I need to download another app?

You may already have the Star Wars: Datapad on your phone if you have used an app to explore Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It is a component within the Play Disney Parks app (which is different from the My Disney Experience app, so you may need to download Play Disney Parks.)

The app will offer additional activities during your excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and it will be used while onboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to share communication from the crew and keep you updated on events within the Halcyon.

What do I need to know about my excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge?

A planetary excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is included as part of your two-night voyage. Guests visiting Batuu do not need to make Disney Park Pass reservations to enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios from the starcruiser. While in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, note that costume guidelines must be consistent with theme park rules, and that full-length robes cannot reach or drag on the ground, and capes may only be worn if they do not hang below the waist.

Quick service meals at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo are included in your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. (You may opt for another quick service restaurant in the park, but to keep the immersion going it is recommend that you dine at Docking Bay 7.)

While in Black Spire Outpost at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Guests can visit Oga’s Cantina, pilot the Millennium Falcon, ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and more.
