Walt Disney famously said that Disneyland would never be complete as long as there was imagination left in the world. Disney Imagineers have worked hard to keep that goal alive. That’s why some rides will go through rethemes, as Disney wants people to have new and exciting experiences when they visit the theme parks. It doesn’t matter if it is at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, or one of Disney’s global theme parks.
One of the attractions most talked about for a ride retheme is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is an incredibly popular ride, located across from Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has been a staple of Hollywood Studios since 1999. For years, fans were excited to go backstage and then shoot across Los Angeles in a super stretch limo as they headed toward the Aerosmith concert. The coaster goes from zero to 57 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds. As Aerosmith songs blare, riders go through 3 inversions — two loops and one corkscrew.
Things began to change in early 2023 when Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler was accused of sexual assault. A woman accused Tyler of having “groomed and manipulated” her in the 1970s when she was just a minor.
Since then, there have been near-constant rumors that Disney would be retheming the attraction. At first, one actor who worked on the ride claimed that the ride would be rethemed to Queen songs. Then, there was also a rumor that Disney would be retheming the ride after A Goofy Movie and using Powerline songs.

Now, those rumors are almost certain to kick up again, as Steven Tyler has been accused by another woman of sexually assaulting her around 1975, when she was 17 and a teen model.
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, the woman claimed that Tyler “used his power, influence, and authority, as a well-known musician to sexually assault” her.
The woman, identified as Jeanne Bellino, said that she and a friend of hers, who was also a model, were meeting the band in Manhattan after a gig that the girls had. Bellino claims that she and her friend met the musicians on 6th Avenue.
Bellino detailed the alleged encounter in a video statement played at a press conference held by her legal team. “I was assaulted in a phone booth in broad daylight in a phone booth by Steven Tyler,” she said. “He’s an angry person inside because, at that time, right before he assaulted me, I laughed at his lyrics, apparently made him angry. I didn’t understand, I wasn’t laughing at him. I just thought, ‘Oh, okay, that was the lyric, that makes sense,’ and I laughed.”
She continued: “He stuck his tongue down my throat, and his friends are looking outside, my friend was also watching, people walking by were watching. And he started groping me, I couldn’t say help because I couldn’t talk, he had me pinned against the phone, and I remember the faces of two men that were walking by just stopped and stared. I was clearly struggling. Nobody said stop, nobody said, ‘Get off of her!'”
Ms. Bellino alleged that, during the assault, Tyler “put his hands upon her body, her breasts, her buttocks, and her genitals, moving and removing clothing and pinning her against the wall of the phone booth.”
She said that it was her first sexual experience. And she said it was not the only time he assaulted her that day. She claims that she did not have any transportation, so she and her friend — who she says saw the assault — went back to a hotel with the band. That is where she was allegedly assaulted a second time.

She said that she managed to escape the hotel with the help of a doorman. She said that Tyler assaulted her, then the doorman helped get her into a cab when Tyler headed up to his hotel room.
Ms. Bellino said that she decided to come forward after reading about Julia Misley (née Holcomb). Ms. Holcomb was the first woman to claim Tyler entered into a sexual relationship with her when she was just 16. She said that their relationship was referenced in a book written by Tyler, when he said that he almost “took a child bride.”
Tyler has denied Misley’s accusations and said that what was written in his book was protected by free speech. He has not made a comment about the new allegations against him.
