Supermodel Lily Aldridge is mainly known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, her work on high-fashion runways, and the countless magazine ads or TV commercials that she’s been featured in during her twenty-year career as a model.

The California native and Nashville resident is also an entrepreneur with a perfume line, a patron of No Kid Hungry and St. Jude’s, a mother of two, and the wife of Kings of Leon vocalist Caleb Followill — but did you know that Lily Aldridge is also a self-professed “huge Disney fan” who frequently visits Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort, and that she’s created a signature margarita for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts?

Lily has previously teamed up with Disney to create a Disney Parks Designer Collection set of rainbow Minnie Mouse ears (which sold out quickly in 2020), but her newest design collaboration with Disney is for adults only! Lily has worked with the staff of La Cava Del Tequila, the popular establishment in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion within the World Showcase, to design a completely “unique” margarita called “The Lily Margarita” for the place that she described as her “favorite place in the world”.

This Margarita was revealed live on Instagram during a chat with staff from La Cava Del Tequila (including mixologist Gustavo Ortega, who worked directly with Lily to design the cocktail)!

“The Lily Margarita” is a watermelon-red margarita, topped with foam and presented in a stemless glass that features Lily’s signature on it. Lily was directly involved in the signature as well as choosing everything from “cup shapes” and “sizes” to to the color of the drink, and it apparently took months of work ever since the project began last August.

The margarita’s ingredients are a base layer of Casa Dragones Blanco tequila (which Lily said is her “favorite tequila”), rose liqueur, cranberry juice, lime juice, and violet essence. The resulting margarita is a “little bit of sweetness”, a “lot of lovely tartness from the cranberry”, and an experience that Lily says is “so refreshing, especially at a hot EPCOT Festival day”!

The ingredients, appearance, and signature glass for “The Lily Margarita” are certainly highlights for any fans of La Cava Del Tequila or any amateur mixologists — but an unexpected highlight from the conversation was Lily’s reveal about her plans to visit EPCOT in person during the Festival!

Lily said during the live conversation that she “will make a surprise appearance and be at the booth someday, [so] make sure you’re there and find me…we can have a cocktail together, which would be so much fun”. The booth being referenced is the Mexico booth, called El Artista Hambriento!

Are you going to be a Guest at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts between January 14 and February 21? Will you head to La Cava Del Tequila to get Lily’s “Lily Margarita” and a signed glass — and possibly to experience some celebrity sightseeing by meeting Lily herself in person at the Mexico kiosk called El Artista Hambriento?

If you’re already a fan of Lily from her work with Victoria’s Secret, Sports Illustrated, Bulgari, or perhaps because you chose to subscribe to her Youtube channel, then keep an eye on her Instagram for clues about when she’s left her Nashville home to head to Orlando!
