Disney Fanatics are known for their exceptional creativity and deep passion for everything Disney. Many tend to be very passionate about the Walt Disney Company’s characters and stories and have a vested interest in the future of the Mouse House and the decisions it takes. Moreover, many Disney fans relish visiting the company’s Theme Parks, as they provide an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the world of their favorite characters and relive their favorite experiences.

Disney fans often take the time to share their takes on what Disney characters, movies, and even the Disney Parks can look like. And sometimes, fans take inspiration from the magic of Disney and create their own dresses and projects that recall, if not surpass in creativity, what Walt Disney Imagineers, animators, and artists do on the daily.

Now, another teenager, Megan Johnson has showcased her own creativity in the same vein. Johnson thrifted an old wedding dress and converted it into a Disney princess-like ball gown for her prom.

In the video, we see Johnson tailoring the dress to make it fit her and then following that up with dyeing the wedding dress a cute shade of pink. Many recalled multiple different Disney characters, including Alex Russo (played by Selena Gomez) on Wizards of Waverly Place: “This looks like alex russos Quincenra dress 😍.”

Another fan shared, “Turned out lovely !! I was worried it’d be too hot pink.”

Many also asked for a video of Johnson in the dress, and she acquiesced:

All commenters loved the final product and even hyped up Johnson to do more with the dress. One suggested, “Okay gonna need a princess photoshoot now!”

Others recommended that she purchase long gloves, a tiara, and more to accompany the dress. Some even gave Johnson suggestions of how to rework the dress, which Johnson said she would try after prom was over, “Okay imagine if you cut like 2-3 inches and put petticoats or a hoop skirt to get a dreamy Dior silhouette ✨.”

It’s certainly a fitting testament to this fan’s creativity.
