A New Itinerary

Disney made the announcement in a statement, revealing that the Disney Adventure will launch its maiden sailings from Singapore in December 2025. The company framed this move as the start of a “magical expansion” into the Asia-Pacific, signaling a strong commitment to the region's growing cruise market.

As part of this growth, we will be repositioning the Disney Wonder to another part of the world following its 2025-26 season in Australia and New Zealand,” Disney confirmed, adding that further details on the ship’s new deployment would be shared at a later time. However, the company did confirm that for the summer of 2026, the Disney Wonder will be headed to Alaska, a destination that remains a fan favorite.

While Disney Wonder will not return to Australia and New Zealand for the 2026-27 season, Disney has reassured guests in the region that the possibility of future sailings remains on the table. “While the Disney Wonder will not return to Australia and New Zealand for the 2026-27 season, we want to reassure you that sailings from this region remain a strong consideration for future itineraries,” the statement read.

In addition to the fleet adjustments, Disney acknowledged the popularity of its recent cruises in the Australia and New Zealand market, noting that “the response from guests during our local seasons has been overwhelmingly positive.” The company also expressed excitement for the upcoming season, which is set to begin on October 19, 2025, promising guests one last unforgettable experience before the ship departs for new waters.
