Disney Parks are bringing a new experience to the United Kingdom this fall.

In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, Disney and Selfridges have teamed up for “A Most Magical Christmas,” a celebration highlighting Disney Parks merchandise at Selfridges locations across the UK. The London store opened on September 22, 2025, offering items from Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Tokyo Disney Resort. Exclusive pins, plush toys, and seasonal collectibles are included, marking merchandise “never offered” outside the parks, according to Disney.
“Disney Store has just launched a retail destination inside Selfridges London, featuring global Disney Parks merchandise that has never been offered beyond the parks,” Disney Parks Blog shared. “Marking an unprecedented moment for Disney Parks merchandise, Disney and Selfridges will bring the magic of Disney Parks straight to Selfridges London Oxford Street store.”

Following London, the Disney Store will expand to Selfridges Manchester Trafford Centre on September 29, 2025, and to Selfridges Manchester Exchange and Selfridges Birmingham Bullring on October 13, 2025. Beginning November 6, the celebration spreads across the UK and online at Selfridges.com, with more than 60 brand collaborations, 18 themed windows, a dramatic in-store façade, and two special editions of the signature Selfridges yellow bag.
Guests visiting London early can experience the Disney Store destination starting September 22, along with a Harry Lambert for Zara x Disney residency in The Corner Shop, Selfridges’ pop-up space.

The Disney Store has a long history of connecting fans with Disney magic. First opening on March 28, 1987, in California’s Glendale Galleria, the store combined imaginative design with merchandise inspired by films, television, and theme park attractions. By the mid-1990s, stores had spread across the United States, Canada, and international markets. Ownership changes occurred in the early 2000s, with Disney selling the North American stores to The Children’s Place in 2004, then repurchasing them in 2008. The “Imagination Park” redesign of 2010 introduced interactive spaces, video walls, and play areas for children.
As shopping trends shifted, Disney closed most standalone stores in North America and Europe in 2021, focusing on shopDisney and retail partnerships such as “shop-in-shop” experiences at Target. By 2024, the brand returned to the Disney Store name.

Disney and Selfridges’ latest collaboration also draws from the past. In the 1960s and 1970s, Disney characters greeted guests at Selfridges entrances. Today’s partnership connects those historical moments with modern experiences, offering a new way for fans to engage with Disney parks merchandise outside of the parks.
With “A Most Magical Christmas” set to launch this holiday season, fans can anticipate new surprises, though details on characters and films are still under wraps.
