Disney Parks fans are outraged after a recent TikTok video captured a disturbing moment between a Disneyland Park guest and Minnie Mouse. The shocking clip shows a teenage boy shoving Minnie Mouse as his family watches, laughs, and films the encounter.
The Incident: Guest Shoves Minnie Mouse

In a TikTok video posted by @earloveyoulove, Minnie Mouse is seen interacting with guests on Main Street, U.S.A. After engaging with a group, Minnie turns to walk away when a young teenage boy suddenly shoves the back of her head.

Minnie Mouse reacted immediately, spinning around and standing firmly in place, her body language signaling distress. Instead of intervening or apologizing, the boy's family laughed and pulled out their phones to record the moment, seemingly treating it as a joke. A Disney cast member quickly stepped in, separating Minnie Mouse from the group.
Disney Fans React to the Minnie Mouse Video
Disney Parks fans were outraged by the footage. Many took to the comments section to call out the guest's inappropriate behavior and the family's lack of concern for the performer inside the costume.
“People need to stop being so handy!” @cutekitty2277 commented. “Would you like it if random people just came up to you and touched you!”

“This whole situation is so uncomfortable,” @matty_tater added. “The guy in the yellow and blue trying to wrap his arms around Minnie, the kid touching the back of her head, the woman in white cutting her off—just bad vibes.”
Many pointed fingers at the boy's parents, questioning why they allowed the incident to happen.
“I hope they got kicked out,” @pictureofplay replied. “Shame on those parents.”

“Those kids are brats,” said @suzymckelviecerf.
Others criticized Minnie Mouse's character attendant for not stepping in sooner.
“The Disney escort should be clear and loud,” @disandoval0 wrote.

“Where was the security?” @rain_408 asked. “They usually have with them for situations like these.”
Protecting Disney Character Performers
Disney's character performers undergo extensive training to stay in character and handle guest interactions professionally, but they also rely on designated safety signals to communicate distress. Since “fur” characters like Minnie Mouse cannot speak while in costume, their ability to defend themselves is limited.
In extreme cases, character performers have been injured by guests pushing, grabbing, or harassing them. Heavy costume pieces, restricted vision, and an inability to verbally correct behavior make them particularly vulnerable.

One Disney fan, @jennylkb0sk, shared their experience standing up for Mickey Mouse:
“They need to respect them they are human like us and is not nice to do that I witnessed some child bullying Mickey and I got a person to help him.”
While Disneyland Resort has not publicly addressed this specific incident, guests who witness inappropriate behavior toward characters should immediately report it to the nearest Disney cast member.

Why didn’t the other cast member, call for security and have them ejected from the park. This type of behavior is propagated due to the lack of action by Disney Parks personnel.
It’s time for Disney Security to be allowed to be more proactive. Any guest who deliberately harasses or inappropriately touches a character or CM should be removed from the park for the rest of the day. And if their group or family participate, boot the too. The characters are a beloved part of the park experience for so many people; they need to be respected.
