
The magic of the Walt Disney World Resort is about to expand outside of the parks and onto Orlando’s I-4/International Drive! Following the success of Walt Disney World merchandise locations and art installations at the Orlando International Airport, the new Disney store will feature artwork covering the building’s parking garage, Walt Disney World exclusive merchandise, ticket sales and information, and more.

The Disney Parks Blog shared that the new location will showcase favorite Disney characters, Walt Disney World Resort offerings, and stunning artwork all “sky-high” with a wrap around the Hollywood Plaza garage on I-Drive. The new art display will be totally dynamic and feature movement in the work’s glittering “pixie dust” and a shining look at the Fab 50 golden character statues.

And that’s only the outside of the building. Once inside, Guests will find a brand new Walt Disney World Store that not only offers exclusive merchandise by ticket sales and the company’s first-ever interactive Disney Vacation Club Virtual Discovery Station. The station will give both locals and visitors to Central Florida an easy way to learn about Disney Vacation Club memberships through floor-to-ceiling screens offering virtual tours, photos, and videos, while they are already in the store picking up souvenirs and theme park tickets.

If you have never stayed outside of Walt Disney World during your Disney vacations, you may not be familiar with I-Drive. The area is a popular retail, dining, and entertainment spot with lots to do in close proximity to Walt Disney World and other Central Florida theme parks, so the first Disney store in the area will surely be a welcome addition for out-of-town Guests looking to plan their Disney vacations on-the-go or to shop for merchandise from Disney theme parks before they return home.
