It looks like Disney World Resort Hotel Guests are going to have to wait a little longer for Extra Magic Hours to come back to the Theme Parks.

According to Disney Parks Blog,

“Our very popular early theme park entry benefit for Disney Resort hotel guests will continue beyond the 50th Anniversary for visits throughout all of 2023! This benefit gives Disney Resort guests an opportunity to enter ANY of the 4 Walt Disney World Resort theme parks to enjoy select attractions, shops and dining EVERY day (valid admission, park reservation and Resort ID required).”

Added as a modified early access feature for Resort Hotel Guests in the midst of covid-related concerns, Disney World’s early Theme Park access for Disney Resort Hotel Guests allows Guests staying on Walt Disney World Resort property to enter the Theme Parks for 30 minutes before everyone else. Previously, Extra Magic Hours would provide those Guests with at least one extra hour in a Theme Park, either in the morning or at night.

Extra Magic Hours were considered a major perk of spending the extra money to stay at a Disney World Resort Hotel, and perhaps the only upside to this new, lesser feature is that it applies to every Disney World Theme Park every day while Extra Magic Hours would only apply to one Theme Park a day.

Along with this news, Disney Parks announced the opening of more vacation bookings through the summer of 2023 and an adaptation to the Disney Genie+ System.
