Going to a Disney Park is an experience that any Disney Fanatic would cherish.

From the myriad rides and attractions in both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, like Space Mountain and “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Park, there’s much for any guest from any part of the world to enjoy at a Disney Resort.

However, it appears there’s one Walt Disney World Resort theme park that fans feel is NOT worth it.

Reddit user and Disney Guest u/Evorus_Krayde took to the social media platform to share his excitement about going to Walt Disney World for a family Disney World vacation soon.

The 34-year-old father of two shared he “may not look like someone who is interested in visiting Disney on the outside, but inside [he’s] been wanting to go for ages!

After explaining the reasons for his excitement, the OP asked fans for advice about going to the parks for the first time, detailing that he and his family were going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, and Magic Kingdom Park.

While a lot of interesting suggestions came forth from the question, one piece of advice stood out.

Many in the comments were unfazed by the OP skipping EPCOT and even actively suggested it. One fan shared, “Definitely don’t sweat skipping Epcot. It was easily our least favorite park and we went to Legoland that week too, and it was better at least for their ages.”

Another chimed in, “I just wanted to comment in support of your decision to skip Epcot this trip. As a kid of every age Epcot was my favorite park, but the parks have changed over the years and at this exact point in time Epcot has dropped down my personal list (due to a mix of ride changes and current construction).”

While so many actively encouraged the OP to skip the Disney Park, others spoke out in defense of EPCOT.

One said, “…if I had to pick a park to skip I’d pick EPCOT too, but it’s definitely still worth a visit. I think someone else suggested doing a half day with DAK/Epcot, which is viable.”

Others tried to suggest ways for the OP to still make EPCOT with his plans by purchasing a Park Hopper.

Despite many believing EPCOT was the Disney Park worth the skip, it’s certainly one Disney is has put much work into, especially with the recent Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana attraction and is an undeniable part of the Disney experience at Walt Disney World.
