Guests were incredibly frustrated when, once again, live streamers decided to ruin a Disney ride for everyone else—an occurrence that is becoming far too common at Disney.
Any Disney fan will attest to how magical and wonderful a Disney vacation is for guests from all around the world. A Disney theme park visit is fairly singular and spectacular in what it offers to visitors. From enthralling lands like Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort to wonderful attractions like Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise at the Disney Parks, there’s a lot to love.

Guest Laments Livestreamers at Disneyland AGAIN
However, a Disney vacation is unfortunately not always perfect, and many times, its fellow visitors who are the cause for that. A guest took to Reddit to lament how a live streamer completely “ruined” their experience of one of Disney’s most iconic rides, expressing that they faced “several really annoying experiences” at the parks the previous day.
The guest wrote about their time at the parks: “Yesterday was my first time on Rise of the Resistance – I paid for the lightning lane and was super excited. However, I got stuck behind a woman who was literally livestreaming her entire walk through the queue, into the pre-ride areas, and the full ride. So phone held up in the air and typing comments to the viewers at the same time.”
The guest continued, “It completely took me out of the ride, and is obviously a completely selfish thing to do to prioritize your weird obsession with social media over anyone else’s comfort.”
Any guest who has been to the parks and experienced this can attest to how frustrating this kind of situation can be. Live streamers have a bad reputation for being inconsiderate of other guests who are on the ride and can often be hyper-focused on their experience and their phones.
The guest followed up their rant by asking why cast members still allowed this and if there was any way to alert cast members and ask them to assist in the situation. The guest also acknowledged one cast member who gently reminded the woman to put her phone away for the duration of the ride.

Guests in the comments were clearly sympathetic to the situation and some even gave the OP advice on how to go about handling this if it happened once more.
One wrote, “Next time, politely ask the CMs to re-ride. Most will happily let you if you explain the situation.”
Another agreed, “I’ve had rides ruined too, even from non-streamers with bright cell phones and flashes turned on. I miss the days of the Kodak moment where film was preserved for the most magical spots and experiences. Not only is filming an issue, now I’m on rides where people are booking their lightning lane or making a mobile order. Thankfully this isn’t every ride and I’ve only had to request to re-ride under 5 times in my life. CMs were amazing and completely understood, they don’t like it either!”
It’s important to remember that going to Disney is a special experience for everyone and being considerate of your fellow guests is the bare minimum!
