Happy Monday, Disney Fanatics!
It is looking to be another beautiful week at The Walt Disney World Resort outside of Orlando, Florida, and here’s the weather report to prove it:
According to The Weather Channel, the week is going to start off rather cold, but the Theme Parks appear to finally start warming up after experiencing the coldest temperatures in four years.
What is to follow is the typical “Florida Winter”; lows in the 50s and 60s, but the highs reaching up into the 70s or even 80s. As of 12 noon ET on Monday, January 31, 2022, no rain is expected to his Walt Disney World until Sunday, February 6 with only a 34% chance of showers going into the night. Otherwise, Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are expected to be under sunny, partly cloudy skies through Saturday.
However, Disney Guests should expect heavy humidity throughout the week. This Floridian can attest that while the humidity will make the summer heat feel worse, it makes the cold air feel a lot colder once the temperatures dip below the mid 60s. So, sweaters and long sleeves may still be warranted for some Guests throughout the days ahead.
80-degree temperatures will no doubt be a welcomed sight to current and upcoming Guests after enduring a week in the 40s and a weekend under a freeze warning with temperatures feeling like the mid-high 20s. The increased temperatures will also, no doubt, lead to more animal activity on Animal Kingom attractions like Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Maharaja Jungle Trek.
