What is Disney+ Premier Access?

We have heard a lot about new movies coming to Disney+ Premier Access. Back when cinemas were closed, this was a way for the Disney company to release new material to audience members with an additional cost. But what exactly is it? We now have a video to help explain.

Premier Access allows families who have Disney+ to watch the newest films from the comfort of their own homes. You can order the new film for an additional fee and watch it as many times as you want.

We first saw Mulan released on Disney+ Premier Access and then Raya and the Last Dragon. We will soon see Cruella added as well as Jungle Cruise and Black Widow this summer.

Before you order Premier Access to a film, you’ll need to make sure you have the following:

  • An active Disney+ subscription
  • A Disney+ supported device
  • A valid form of payment*

Premier Access is an additional fee on top of your Disney+ subscription.
