Why Smart Disney Guests Are Booking TWO Vacations Right Now

Great news for Disney fans who are already planning their return trip! Walt Disney World has just sweetened the deal on their popular “comeback” promotion, pushing the availability all the way through December 2026.

If you're staying at any Disney resort property, you're automatically in line for some pretty solid savings on your next visit. We're talking 25% to 35% off select resort stays, depending on which tier you choose.

How It Actually Works

Here's the deal: once you're checked into your Disney hotel, you'll start seeing information about this offer basically everywhere—on your room's TV, in printed materials around your room, and you'll even get an email about it on checkout day. The best part? You can now book it yourself online instead of having to call.

You've got a full week after you check out to pull the trigger on booking. And if your plans are still up in the air? No worries. You can change or cancel without any fees as long as you do it at least 30 days before your arrival date.

The Discount Breakdown

The amount you save depends on where you want to stay:

Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts get you up to 35% off. This includes the heavy hitters like the Grand Floridian, Polynesian Village, Contemporary, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and several others—over 20 properties in total.

Moderate Resorts offer up to 30% off at places like Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, and both Port Orleans locations.

Value Resorts will save you up to 25% at the All-Star properties, Pop Century, and Art of Animation.

When Can You Use It?

The available dates are pretty generous, though there are some blackout periods (because of course there are). For what's left of 2025, you can snag these rates from late November through Christmas Eve.

For 2026, there's availability scattered throughout the year, with the newest additions being late October through November and the tail end of the year heading into Christmas. Summer has several windows open too, which is nice since that's prime vacation time for families.

The Fine Print (Because There's Always Fine Print)

A few things to keep in mind: there are only so many rooms available at these discounted rates, so it's not unlimited. Some room types don't qualify—like campsites, certain three-bedroom villas, and some of the premium bungalow-style accommodations.

If you've got more than two adults staying in a room, you might see some extra charges tacked on. And while you can't stack this with most other Disney deals, they are letting you combine it with the kids-eat-free dining plan for 2026 packages, which is actually pretty rare for Disney promotions.

The offer is only for people actually staying at Disney World resort hotels—you can't just pass the deal along to a friend who hasn't stayed there.

Bottom Line

If you're already at Disney World and had even a tiny thought about coming back, this is probably worth looking into. The fact that it's now bookable online and extends through the end of next year gives you a lot more flexibility than these promotions usually offer.
