REPORT: Disney Bringing Extended Evening Hours to Animal Kingdom Park

It appears as though Walt Disney World will now be bringing Extended Evening Hours to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Going to the Walt Disney World Resort is an experience to be cherished. Many guests thoroughly enjoy the possibility of a Disney vacation, particularly one at the Central Florida Disney resort. From rides and attractions like Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park to Tower of Terror in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park, there’s a lot to love.

However, Disney fans have more reason to rejoice! Disney World released its calendar up through the month of November. It is apparent in the calendar that the Disney resort will be bringing its first Extended Evening Hours event to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park on November 8, 2023.

What are Disney’s Extended Evening Hours?

A perk available to guests of Disney Deluxe Hotels and a very select group of partner hotels, Extended Evening Hours grants guests access to a select park on select nights, for extra time—typically two hours—after the park has closed to other guests.

How Late Can You Stay in Animal Kingdom?

With the beginning of Extended Evening Hours at Animal Kingdom Park, guests will be allowed to stay in the Disney park until 9 p.m. on November 8. Typically, Animal Kingdom Park is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
