New Disney World Holiday Event Sold Out Opening Night!

The holiday season is one of the best times to head down to Florida and visit Walt Disney World Resort. The temperature is perfect, you don’t have to shovel snow, and the decorations put you in the holiday spirit. But of course, Disney doesn’t just decorate for the holidays. They offer specialty food and drinks and host several hard-ticketed events that guests love more and more every year.

This year, Disney is hosting a brand-new after-hours event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Jollywood Nights will take place on select nights from November 11 through December 20. As with many Disney parties, attractions will have much shorter wait times, there will be fun dance parties, rare character meet and greets, and even the hit nighttime show Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! And don’t forget to snag some of the amazing food that will wrap the flavor of the holidays up into one absolutely delicious bite.

If you are thinking about attending Jollywood Nights, then you may want to get your tickets ASAP. They are going fast and, according to the Walt Disney World Resort website, the first night of the party is already sold out. The following dates are still available:

Disney’s Jollywood Nights is a brand-new event coming to Hollywood Studios this year. With the success of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom, it makes sense that Disney would want to give Guests more options.

Get ready to dress in your holiday glam best or festive flair, dance the night away to merry mashups, indulge in divine treats and bubbling spirits, and snap selfies with iconic characters during this new festive event. For an extra dose of cheer, the party wraps with the return of the nighttime spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” You’ll be in fa la la la la la la la land before you can say Tinseltown!

 Experience holiday vibes throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios with entertainment areas inspired by different genres:

• You’ll be welcomed to Disney Jollywood Nights with a DJ spinning a mix of holiday tunes. Commissary Lane comes to life with a lively Latin Street Fair. Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will be very special guests at Theater of the Stars along with some of their Disney friends. And … what’s this? Hyperion Theater will host a spirited sing-along – more details to come.
• Encounter glitz and glamor galore at two limited-capacity entertainment experiences – a jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby and an other-worldly soiree at The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard.
• Wrap up the night and enjoy the return of a festive favorite, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” This Santa-sized nighttime spectacular is jam-packed with music, fireworks, special effects and dazzling state-of-the-art projections.

Guests will also have access to special holiday-themed Magic Shots, and their tickets will come with complimentary PhotoPass downloads. Definitely something to take advantage of!

During the event, some of the most popular attractions will remain open as well. Guests will have the chance to ride Slinky Dog Dash, Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (which will use a virtual queue). While some of the attractions may not be walk-ons, a lot of them will have significantly shorter wait times.
