A recent post online sent positive, healing wishes to a woman who suffered a head injury at Disney World recently.
The Walt Disney World Resort has well-earned its moniker of “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” From the myriad rides and attractions like Space Mountain and Main Street, U.S.A., to lands like Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, it’s no surprise that this is true.
However, sometimes accidents can happen at the Disney Park.
Woman Injures Herself at Hollywood Studios
One Disney World guest took to social media to wish a woman who injured herself at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park well.
The guest wrote, “If you were with the woman who fell and cut the back of her head open in HS today, we just wanted to pass along best wishes. We walked by while medical services was attending to her and there was so much blood. I really hope she is okay. If she’s with your group, please send our healing thoughts.”

The OP explained in a later comment when providing more context that the fall happened at the base of the brick stairs near Runaway Railroad. The OP and their friends wondered if the woman fell down the stairs.
They also explained, “There was blood all over the ground and cast members were directing people to give them a wide berth. She was on a gurney with a bandage wrapped around her head and there was blood all over her head and soaking through the bandage. I really hope she is okay. It looked bad.”
Another guest who also witnessed the woman fall and hit her head provided some more context. They wrote, “We really hope she’s okay. We were walking closely behind her group but didn’t actually see what happened as it was so sudden. It seemed like one moment everything was fine, then there was a jerking motion and she hit the ground at the bottom of the steps.”
Many guests in the comments reassured the OP that it was unlikely the injured woman was hurt terribly. One explained, “The irony is it was probably a tiny cut. Head wounds always bleed heavily even when they are tiny.”
This was a sentiment corroborated by others who’d had prior experience with head injuries, either for themselves or from witnessing friends or classmates suffer them.
As of the publishing of this story, we have not heard any update on the condition of the Disney guest. Here’s wishing her a speedy recovery.
