The Walt Disney World Resort can be The Most Magical Place On Earth. Still, the combination of capacity crowds, extra-long wait times, and general exhaustion that comes from a day in the Parks can brew agitation that makes it seem the exact opposite.

Take this instance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this last week, where an altercation in line resulted in a man being physically threatened while he was holding his one-year-old daughter.

First shared by Inside the Magic, the Guest identified as Corey K. recounted the following experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

So today was a rough start at Hollywood Studios. Around 9:05 AM my wife, my one year old daughter and myself were patiently waiting in line to get in the park. Unfortunately there’s always some sort of line chaos but everyone 99% of the time just sorted out. However, we were approached by another gentleman and he asked us if we were apart of a party that was in front of us. I told him no. He then proceeded to tell my wife and I “back of the line buddy.” So my response was “excuse me sir.” He proceeded to get violent and try to fight me in line while I was holding my one year old in my arms in front of hundreds of people in line. He eventually was pulled away by his wife who apologized for his actions but this incident was reported. This behavior from an adult should not be allowed in a family safe and fun park. The end result is this man is being removed from the park once found cause Disney has 0 tolerance of this type of behavior. Other than that, it’s a beautiful day to be at Disney!!!

Thankfully, a full-fledge fight did not break out, and it appears that Corey and his family were still able to salvage their Disney day. But, this is just the latest altercation we have seen between Park Guests and the first to have a one-year-old child caught almost smack in the middle of it.

Spring Break is getting closer and closer, and with it will come near-capacity crowds. The Walt Disney World Resort has a zero-tolerance policy for fighting and threatening other Guests in its Parks. All Guests preparing to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom during this incredibly busy time should arrive with the right expectations, a cool head, and remember that they can report all incidents to the nearest Cast Member or security official.

Despite crowds and other patience-straining conditions, we can still have a magical time.
