10 EPCOT Experiences We Could Do Without At Walt Disney World

10. Finding a Spot to See “IllumiNations”

The nighttime fireworks spectacular at Epcot is called “IllumiNations,” and it’s definitely worth seeing. Unfortunately, it can be hard to find a good spot if the park is crowded. Unlike “Wishes” over at Magic Kingdom, the fireworks and lights for “IllumiNations” are kept lower over the lagoon, making it harder to see if you don’t get a spot right by the water. If you’re visiting the park on a busy day you need to get a place early or you’ll have a hard time seeing the show.

EPCOT is a fantastic park with a great deal to offer. Be prepared for these less-than perfect things and you’ll still have a wonderful time visiting an incredibly unique park.

Laurel

Laurel took her first trip to Walt Disney World when she was only 18 months old and hasn’t stopped visiting since. Now she enjoys taking her own twins and husband as often as she can. And don’t tell the boys, but sometimes she goes without them, too.
