10 Reasons Why We Love Disney's Polynesian Resort

Spirit of Aloha

1. Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

For the ultimate luau and dinner combo there’s Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, held on select evenings within the Polynesian Village Resort’s own open-air Luau Cove theater. Join in all the food, fun, and island enchantment as this festive feast presents a lavish all-you-can-eat family-style bounty of tropical tastes along with stellar stage entertainment encompassing traditional Polynesian dance, drums and other instruments, fire dancing and fire knife performances, and much, much more. The basic storyline of the show follows a sendoff celebration for one of the island’s girls, who will be headed off to college on the mainland soon. And this is clearly a celebration that’s beyond compare, as you will soon find out. Some of the enticing eats you will find here include Polynesian ribs, Aloha pulled pork, roasted chicken, vegetable medleys, salads, and plenty of other picks. You’ll even discover a sweet spot with delectable dessert choices like the pineapple-coconut guava cake with chocolate crunch, for example. Guests may also enjoy cocktails and other drink concoctions, available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic variations.

These are all very good reasons why we love Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort but there are also countless others. Overall, there’s just something enchanting about this paradise island getaway right in the heart of central Florida—rightfully in the heart of the most magical place on Earth. Discover for yourself the whimsical wonder awaiting you when you stay at this unique tropical haven.
