10 Reasons Why We Love Disney’s Polynesian Resort

9. Hawaiian hospitality

Hawaiian hospitality is yours from the very moment you set foot on the grounds at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Don’t be surprised to find cast members on standby waiting to greet you upon arrival with colorful flowery leis (no, they aren’t leis made from the famed Kukui Nut Tree!) and welcomes as warm as the tropical air. Disney cast members are committed to offering impeccable quality service, 24/7, whatever you may need and whenever you may need it. With each employee interaction you’ll find friendly faces and smiles from people who truly demonstrate what it means to care about others. And throughout the day and at special designated times you are likely to find several family-friendly onsite activities, sometimes including making leis in the lobby with Polynesian legend “Auntie Kau’i” or learning to hula dance among other things. On one final side note, themotto of the Polynesian reads “Aiita Peatea,” which literally translates to “There will be another day tomorrow, just like today.”
