19. Family-Oriented Rides
The greater majority of rides at Disney Parks (particularly in the Magic Kingdom) are suitable for all ages. That means the whole family can share in the magic of riding plenty of rides together. Some of the timeless classics you can enjoy in Magic Kingdom Park include It’s A Small World, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan’s Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Mad Tea Party, and countless others. Goofy’s Barnstormer Rollercoaster is, for many small children, their first ever roller-coaster experience, as you only need to be 35” to ride. Families visiting Epcot with small children can enjoy a host of rides, like Journey into Imagination with Figment, Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Frozen Ever After, and the Gran Fiesta Tour, to name a few. The Great Movie Ride is just one of the family favorites you’ll find at Hollywood Studios, and Kilimanjaro Safaris is another great experience for the entire gang to enjoy together at Animal Kingdom.
18. Family Photos
You can’t beat family photos with Disney’s greatest. Cast Members with cameras can be found around various photo-perfect spots in the parks to help you create lasting magical memories. And then, of course, there are also some of those family-friendly rides that snap great photos of you and your crew as well, along with some dining venues that take photos of each dining party upon entry or departure. But one of the best photo experiences for families to share is to gather together for a picture with Disney’s most beloved characters. There are plenty of opportunities for doing so, whether you are out strolling the parks and come across a character, or you go to a designated Meet and Greet character spot. Meeting Mickey in his dressing room at Town Square Theater is the perfect way to ensure family photos with the iconic mouse. Another great guarantee for character meet and greets (especially for small children) is to head to Epcot’s Character Spot.
