For nearly a year, Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) maintained an air of mystery—but now, it’s throwing caution to the wind as it gears up for its summer release. In a surprising pivot from its previously top-secret tone, the film has unveiled a bunch of major spoilers.
Director Gareth Edwards (of 2014’s Godzilla and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and screenwriter David Koepp (the pen behind Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park) are at the helm of the new film, which promises to usher in a “new Jurassic era.”
The plot centers on covert operations expert Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) and her specialist team, which includes Jonathan Bailey’s paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis. Their top-secret mission—retrieving DNA from three large dinosaurs—takes a turn when they stumble upon a shipwrecked family on a dinosaur-populated jungle island. There, they discover a “sinister, shocking” secret that has been hidden for decades.
The official trailer for the film also reveals plenty about the film. Watch it below:
Now, Universal Pictures is pulling back the curtain even further by revealing five major action sequences through the launch of new LEGO Jurassic World Rebirth playsets. Each set includes a signature dinosaur alongside minifigures of film characters.
But, in a spoiler-y fashion, the LEGO playsets also bring several key sequences from the upcoming film into miniature form.
The “T-Rex River Escape” set points to the iconic river chase from Michael Crichton’s novel which will be brought to life in the film—the sequence features a T-Rex in hot pursuit of a raft carrying new characters, while also echoing the classic Universal Studios attraction.

The “Mosasaurus Boat Mission” set corresponds with another high-action encounter from the film, in which a pack of Spinosaurs join a Mosasaurus in taking down Zora’s boat.
The “Raptor & Titanosaurus Tracking Mission” set obviously ties in with the sequence in which Zora Bennett and Dr. Henry Loomis navigate the long grass where they discover two towering Titanosaurs, and potentially lurking Velociraptors.
The sequence that inspires the “Raptor Off-Road Escape” set doesn’t appear in the trailer, however, the set comes with minifigures of stranded father Reuben Delgado (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo ) and his daughter Isabella Delgado (Audrina Miranda).
Finally, the “Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus Air Mission” set shifts the action into the skies. Here, Zora and her team confront a massive Quetzalcoatlus, shown nesting in an ancient temple. This sequence is heavily teased in the trailer for the film.

You can find out more about the LEGO sets on the official website. Some are available for pre-order now, and are expected to be available from June 1.
