Toy Story Land Is Getting a HUGE Update

Construction at Disney parks usually brings a mix of excitement and frustration. But right now, something interesting is happening at Toy Story Land inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios—and this time, the updates feel like a step in the right direction.

A New Snack Kiosk on the Way

Nestled between the Toy Story Land restrooms and the path that leads into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a brand-new snack kiosk is currently under construction. Disney hasn’t released details about what the kiosk will serve or when it will open, but permits have been filed and walls are up. Given the lack of quick service options in the area, this could be a game-changer—especially for families trying to grab a snack without leaving the land.

Woody’s Lunch Box Gets an Upgrade

Right nearby, Woody’s Lunch Box has been undergoing its own refresh. The once-cramped dining area now features more covered seating, offering guests some much-needed shade and elbow room. While some minor construction is still going on behind the scenes, most of the major work appears to be finished—and the expanded seating is already in use.

Bright Walls, Bigger Hints

Guests have also noticed new construction walls along the walkway where Toy Story Land connects with Galaxy’s Edge. These aren’t your usual neutral-colored barriers. They’re painted in vibrant colors and filled with playful Toy Story quotes, which suggests that Disney wants them to be part of the experience rather than an eyesore.

Some believe the land’s missing entrance sign might be getting a fresh look, while others are hopeful that more food or even interactive elements could be on the way.

Small Fixes With Big Impact

These aren’t massive overhauls, but they’re exactly the kind of updates that improve a land’s day-to-day experience. Toy Story Land has always been full of charm and character—but it’s also been criticized for its lack of shade, limited dining options, and congested walkways. Bit by bit, Disney seems to be addressing those issues.

Hollywood Studios Keeps Growing

Hollywood Studios has seen some of the most dramatic transformations in recent years, thanks to big additions like Galaxy’s Edge and Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway. Now, it looks like smaller corners of the park are getting their moment. And for fans of Toy Story, these quiet changes feel like a long-overdue win.

A frequent visitor of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, Andrew will likely be found freefalling on Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or enjoying Pirates of the Caribbean. Over at Universal, he'll be taking in the thrills of the Jurassic World Velocicoaster and Revenge of the Mummy
