Walt Disney World Resort recently introduced significant changes that make it harder for guests to access Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT.
The changes center around the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC), where guests park, board trams, undergo security screening, and catch Monorail or watercraft transportation to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. Guests can also collect personal items at the Lost & Found center or purchase theme park tickets at the TTC.

This week, Walt Disney World Resort installed construction walls around half of the ticket booths at the Transportation & Ticket Center, forcing visitors to reroute to the right side of the entrance to go through the security checkpoint and board transportation, whether by Monorail or watercraft, to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT.
According to reports from @WDWNT on X (formerly known as Twitter), the left side entrance to the Transportation & Ticket Center is entirely blocked off, and guests must navigate through a less direct route to access transportation for both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. Walt Disney World Resort has used construction walls and rolling planters to restrict access, though nearby restrooms remain open for guest use.

Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t officially commented on the construction walls or the work underway, so it’s unclear whether this is part of routine maintenance like repaving or painting, or if it’s connected to a larger renovation project. There’s also no word on whether similar changes will be implemented on the right side of the Transportation & Ticket Center ticket booths in the near future.
