One of the world’s tallest roller coasters became the stage for a dangerous stunt when a man scaled its towering tracks and leapt from the top. The moment, captured on video, has once again gone viral, reigniting conversations about extreme theme park daredevils.
The roller coaster in question is Red Force, the star attraction of Ferrari Land at PortAventura World in Salou, Catalonia, Spain. Standing 367 feet tall, the ride dominates the park’s skyline and once held the title of the tallest roller coaster in the world after Six Flags Great Adventure’s Kingda Ka closed. In 2024, Cedar Point’s Top Thrill 2 claimed that honor with a staggering 420-foot height and a 400-foot drop, pushing Red Force to second place.

According to reports, the man hid inside the park until closing time, ensuring no crowds or staff would spot him. He then began his climb up Red Force’s steep track, ultimately reaching the top before jumping with a parachute. Instagram user @i_cperez shared the video with the caption, “crazy things people do for views.” The post quickly amassed over 200,000 likes, sparking heated debate in the comments.
Many criticized the man’s actions, but others admired his fearlessness.
“I doubt he cares about the views as much as he cares about the rush,” @gtrg2 wrote. “Bro would be doing this with or without a camera.”

“I’ll bet bro would do it even without the camera but like why wouldn’t you record it?” @kippers101 echoed.
The stunt was actually filmed in the summer of 2022 by 22-year-old George King. Reports say King parachuted into a nearby parking lot, where local law enforcement and PortAventura World security immediately confronted him. He was arrested and warned that any similar actions in Spain could result in prison time. Despite the height and risk, King walked away uninjured.
