The Jurassic Park universe has grown far beyond the original films, proving that dinosaurs are as captivating on screen as ever. Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest film in the series that was released this summer, pulled in over $850 million globally, underscoring the franchise’s enduring box office success despite a mixed to negative critical reception.
Directed by Gareth Edwards (2014's Godzilla) and written by David Koepp (Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park), the film stars Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame) and Jonathan Bailey (Wicked) in a standalone story. While a sequel is rumored, Universal Pictures has yet to officially announce anything.
While the theatrical side of the franchise thrives, the animated side has offered fans a closer look at other corners of the Jurassic universe. Camp Cretaceous premiered in 2020, following a group of teens stranded on Isla Nublar during the events of Jurassic World (2015).
The show expanded the franchise’s storytelling, delving into untold adventures and the complex interactions between humans and dinosaurs, while giving us a new ensemble of young characters in Darius, Kenji, Sammy, Brooklynn, Ben, and Yaz.

After five seasons, its follow-up, Chaos Theory, took the story further, following older versions of those characters while keeping the tension high. Now, the series is approaching its conclusion.
Netflix recently released the trailer for the fourth and final season, which promises more action-packed dinosaur encounters and suspenseful story beats. The season will continue to intersect with events from Jurassic World Dominion (2022), providing continuity for fans invested in the wider franchise. Watch the official trailer below:
Chaos Theory Season 4 will premiere on Netflix on November 20.
It stars Paul-Mikél Williams as Darius Bowman, Darren Barnet as Kenji Kon, Sean Giambrone as Ben Pincus, Kausar Mohammed as Yasmina “Yaz” Fadoula, Raini Rodriguez as Sammy Gutierrez, and Kiersten Kelly as Brooklynn.
