Child Abandoned at Disney World Theme Park at 2:00 a.m.

A disturbing situation unfolded in the early morning hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Law enforcement responded to what appears to have been a child left alone at the Central Florida theme park long after closing time. The incident was just one of three separate emergency situations that prompted police responses across Walt Disney World Resort property within a 12-hour window, including another report of a “person down” and a vehicle accident with injuries.

Scanner activity tracked by X account @WDWActiveCrime initially documented a “person down” call at Disney's Hollywood Studios around 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18. Hours later, authorities reclassified the nature of the call as “child neglect,” suggesting the initial emergency involved a minor who required law enforcement intervention.

Given that Disney's Hollywood Studios closes to guests well before midnight, the timeline strongly suggests a child may have been left unattended at the theme park, prompting Disney security personnel to contact authorities for assistance. The circumstances surrounding how long the child remained alone or who was responsible for their supervision remain unclear.
