Construction has arrived in Adventureland at Disneyland Park.
What Guests Found on May 26

On May 26, WDWNT reported that wooden fencepost-style construction walls appeared between Indiana Jones Adventure and the Adventureland Treehouse at Disneyland Park. The barriers block a defined stretch of the area, though both attractions on either side of the construction zone remain open and accessible to Disney Park guests.
A Disney cast member was spotted working inside the zone wearing a respirator mask designed to protect against hazardous gases or fibers. Crews appear to be working with concrete and adjusting pipes in the area.
The small river running through that section of Adventureland has gone completely still, with the active water flow switched off entirely. Whether the river is directly involved in the work or the water was simply shut down for an unrelated reason hasn't been confirmed. Still, the combination of pipe work, concrete, and a dry riverbed raises questions about what exactly is being reconfigured beneath the surface.

Portions of the work are visible from outside the barriers and from elevated vantage points inside the Adventureland Treehouse.
No Statement, No Timeline

Disneyland Resort has offered no public comment on the project — not what it involves, how long it will take, or what guests should expect to see when the walls eventually come down. The Southern California Disney destination typically stays quiet on minor maintenance projects. However, given the presence of hazmat-grade protective equipment and active piping, this one may be more involved than the resort's silence implies.
