Star Wars fans have had plenty to enjoy on Disney Plus lately, with Star Wars: Visions and The Mandalorian providing plenty of entertainment, but there’s also been lots of excitement around the upcoming “Book of Boba Fett” series despite the other offerings from Disney. The new trailer for “The Book of Boba Fett” has now been released; take a look at the trailer in the Tweet below from Disney!

Disney fanatics will recognize Boba Fett’s right-hand woman Fennec Shand (or perhaps recognize her voice) as Ming-Na Wen, the original voice actress who played Mulan in Disney’s animated classic (and who had a cameo in the live-action Mulan movie from last year). Ming-Na Wen has already played Fennec Shand in The Mandalorian, and in Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Boba Fett himself is played by Temuera Morrison, a New Zealander who is reprising his role as Boba Fett and who was also Moana’s father in the Disney animated film Moana.
With new characters, exciting new combat, and an in-depth look at fan-favorite Boba Fett (not to mention the influence of actress and director Bryce Dallas Howard, who has taken the reins to direct some episodes) we’ll be excited to see what this new series offers! The series premieres on December 29th, exclusively on Disney+.
