Reports of ICE Stops at Disney Resort Raise Concerns Among Cast Members

Recent claims from Disneyland Resort cast members have raised alarms, as reports circulate that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have been stopping employees as they leave company parking lots. These allegations, which have spread rapidly on social media and among park staff, suggest that ICE agents have been seen in various locations across the resort, including the Mickey and Friends parking structure, the Downtown Disney parking lot, and the cast member (CM) gates.

Speculation and Tension Rise Amidst California’s Immigration Debate

The allegations come at a time of heightened tension in California, where ICE raids and protests related to immigration have become significant talking points. The state’s vocal stance on immigrant rights has only amplified the sensitivity of these claims. For Disneyland cast members, many of whom come from diverse backgrounds, the rumors have sparked anxiety and confusion. Employees are now looking for answers from park management and security teams regarding the validity of these reports.

One source familiar with the situation shared their perspective: “I’ve heard various things, such as reports of ICE at Harbor, Mickey and Friends, Downtown Disney/DtD parking lot, CM gates to the park, Manchester CM parking exit, and even CM shuttles being pulled over.

The source also mentioned that if ICE activity did occur, it was short-lived, and investigators who visited the parks or surrounding areas did not find anything unusual. However, they also noted that “it’s very possible that one or more of the above is true, but it’s also possible that this is all speculation being spread around as fact.

Disneyland Resort Investigates Amid Rising Rumors

Despite the uncertain nature of the claims, Disneyland Resort management and security are reportedly investigating the situation. While the park has not made any official statements yet, sources indicate that they are taking the allegations seriously. The uncertainty surrounding the reports has left many cast members feeling uneasy, unsure about the extent of ICE’s involvement and whether these reports were based on truth or misinformation.

The controversy surrounding ICE agents allegedly operating near Disneyland Resort has added fuel to the broader conversation about immigration enforcement in the U.S. With ICE raids frequently making headlines in California, and ongoing protests demanding policy reform, the possibility of agents stopping workers at a prominent venue like Disneyland has intensified the debate. For many, these reports highlight ongoing concerns over the treatment of immigrant workers, with some cast members fearing they may be unfairly targeted because of their immigration status.

  1. Here’s a thought. If Disney doesn’t have anyone illegal working there then no worries. If there is then shame on Disney and is legally responsible NOT to hire them.
Why is anyone trying to create a frantic situation? 🙄
