In the latest news from Disney Parks, another Walt Disney World attraction reportedly was blocked off from entry after a breakdown.

Visiting Walt Disney World, whether Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, is always an experience to write home about. Any Disney Theme Park is a great place for a Disney vacation and is the perfect place for a magical Disney experience.

But sometimes, things go awry.

That’s precisely what happened at  Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Guests were left with a less-than-immersive experience recently when one of the two rides in the land broke down, leaving them wanting. Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run ran into some issues, leaving Guests waiting outside.

Disney Guest and Reddit user u/BarrellRoll97 took to the social media platform to share the photo:

The Guest clarified in the comments,

Smuggler’s Run was completely evacuated when I was about to board the ship yesterday. It was eventually reopened, but this is what they were doing while things were being sorted out.

The ride eventually came back online; while a Disney attraction requiring some downtime is a common experience, seeing a swarm of Guests like this photo is a rarer sight. Typically, when this happens, Guests are given a pass that they can use to skip the standby line on an attraction of their choice to make up for the lost time.

u/ITrcool hypothesized about the situation, “oh wow! Wonder what happened. If it was evac-level, either maybe the repair was dangerous enough for guests, or maybe they had to open up some panels in the guest-facing on-stage parts of the attraction so didn’t want to expose that to guests.”

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is in the Disney Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World Resort. The 13-acre expansion from Walt Disney Imagineering is unique; it transports Guests to a galaxy far, far away, putting them right in the middle of the Star Wars universe on the planet Batuu. The experience is incredibly immersive, down to the food Guests can order at locations like Docking Bay 7 and Oga’s Cantina.
