Applications Open for Disney College Program

If you’ve ever wanted to play a more active part in the Disney experience, Disney is hiring for its College Program!

Cast Members at Disney World are a massive part of the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Theme Parks all over the world. They’re one of the primary reasons people flock to the Theme Parks and look back so fondly on their experiences there.

The Program allows those accepted to do the following:

Discover a unique living and working environment with participants from all over the world. This program allows you to gain on-the-job experience with a world-renowned company, providing uniquely Disney learning experiences, all while preparing for your future, building transferable skills, including networking, problem solving, teamwork and effective communication.

Disney is currently looking for applicants to arrive at Walt Disney World as part of the Program between October 2022 and April 2023. Departure dates will begin no earlier than May 2023.

According to the job listing, this is what applicants can expect to be a part of the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort. They will work in a front-line role at the parks and resorts and have the opportunity to participate in many unique Disney experiences and activities solely for those in the Program. The Program runs for four to seven months, with opportunities to extend up to one year.

This unique program allows participants to network with professionals throughout The Walt Disney Company, take part in learning and career development sessions, and live and work with people from all over the world. While you work in your role, you will build transferable skills such as problem solving, teamwork, guest service, and effective communication.

Disney Programs range from a variety of ages, think high school to college and more, as well as a variety of specializations. They also offer a Disney Culinary Program and a Disney International Program.
