Are These Disney Wedding Venues Tacky?

Just this month, the world caught a glimpse of what a real royal wedding looks like when Princess Iman of Jordan married New Yorker, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis. There were stunning gowns, beautiful flowers, and of course a tiara. We’re not swooning, you are!!

So many of us dream of that perfect Cinderella wedding! It’s a fantasy! Disney can make this dream a reality though with Disney Fairy Tale Weddings.

Disney offers a multitude of pricing options from $7,500 to well, infinity. This is Disney we are talking about so the possibilities are endless. Where exactly can you have your fairy tale wedding? Well Disney has a lot of options and bluntly some are MUCH nicer than others.

Of course, the most expensive, most coveted, is at Cinderella’s Castle in Walt Disney World Resort or at Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Resort.

One of the newest options in Walt Disney World, is to get married at “Plaza de Remy”. This is right outside of Remy’s Ratatoullie Adventure in EPCOT. While we are absolutely obsessed with this ride and movie…it’s just not romantic to us and there are many better options.

Another option is to get married at sea on the Disney Cruise Line. This can combine your wedding, honeymoon and princess fantasies all wrapped up into one. Getting married on a boat dare we sale is a tale as old as time but getting married like in the picture below, you are welcoming about 2000 people come to your wedding for free essentially. Having your wedding out in the main lobby of the ship means anything and everything can happen. Screaming kids. Vomiting kids. Couples fighting. That older guy who insists on wearing the same red speedo every day of the cruise. Fairy tale or nightmare?

What do you think? Do you think getting married in a theme park is tacky or a dream come true?
